Acting Workshops
All acting workshops include:
  1. physical and vocal warm-ups and improvisation exercises
  2. learning a variety of basic acting techniques for TV, film, theatre and commercials based primarily on James Hong's techniques derived from Constantin Stanislavski, Sanford Meisner, and Viola Spolin.
  3. building self-confidence through expressing yourself infront of an audience
  4. relating to others' feelings
  5. improving your speech
  6. learning focus, respect, and self-discipline
 

SETTING A GOAL: If there is something in particular that you want to work on, we can focus our attention on developing this area.

TYPE OF WORK: Individual and group acting exercises (including movement, vocalization and improvisation), often times monologues and scenes with partners.


SPECIAL FEATURES:
Industry guests, such as directors, producers, writers, casting directors, etc. to view the sessions and interact with the students. Question and answer period follows.
